Our Story
Aviva and Michael met December 7, 2017 on a cold, snowless night in Manhattan, thanks to an introduction by their friend, Aliza.
From the start, there was something unmistakably special about their connection. Michael effused a warmth, depth and enthusiasm that caught Aviva by surprise. Aviva's unique blend of sophistication, sweetness and openness entranced Michael.
Very quickly, one date turned into several, several dates morphed into a relationship, and their relationship evolved into something they affectionately dubbed "their very own penguin love story."
As you may know, not only do penguins mate for life, but they regularly shower their penguin partners with fun and games, thoughtful gestures and demonstrations of support. So too, Michael and Aviva's relationship was replete with adventures and laughter, companionship and understanding, and shared values and dreams.
After a short 5.5 months, in the place brimming with yearning, gratitude, happiness and hope, Michael professed his deep appreciation for having met Aviva, his love for her, and his hope that she would join him on the next chapter of their love story as his wife.
With tears of joy streaming down her face, Aviva thanked Michael for filling her life with so much goodness and love, and said "yes" to building a life together.

Out-of-town guests are invited to reserve hotel rooms directly with the Reservations Department at the Westminster Hotel by calling 973-533-0600. Please mention "Fink-Goon Wedding" for group rates at the time of your booking.

Group rates will apply to Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights (11/16/18 -11/18/18).
Shuttle service to and from the Westminster Hotel and Crystal Plaza has been arranged for all Hotel guests. Shuttles will depart from the Westminster Hotel starting at 1:30pm (running every 10 minutes). Each shuttle holds 10 passengers. Return shuttle service from Crystal Plaza will commence following wedding festivities.
